In 2004 David Hannan acquired an HD Probe lens from Innovision Optics allowing him to capture extreme close up images.

In December, David relocated to Heron Island on Australia's Great Barrier Reef for 3 weeks to document the annual coral spawning event.

There are now over 25 hours of Macro Coral Spawning footage on HD, one of David's favourite specialty subjects. This should keep the editors quite busy for some time!
